I will walk through the main elements of the massive, full-site redesign we recently completed.
This was a full code, content, and design aesthetic overhaul.
The problem:
Incredibly outdated, inaccessible, cluttered, text-heavy website in need of major transformation.
The solution:
After four years of planning, prep, research, collaboration, and testing, we were able to completely transform the mge.com website for our customers and our users.
The elements:
The core elements were cleaned up and modernized for better and easier user consumption:
Overall increased text sizes across the entire site for better readability/accessibility
Converted all buttons and inputs to a rounded style for modernity and trustworthiness
Created a cohesive color palette that still includes the original brand's green as well as reflects elements from the local environment in Madison
Cultivated a full, modern set of solid icons for consistency across the site
Updated all imagery with larger, high-quality versions to make the site more visually appealing and more relatable with the community it serves
